Legoland and Hiroshi the Performing Monkey

Odaiba, a train ride, then monorail ride from Tokyo is a wonderful place to visit while in Tokyo. Shopping, architecture, restaurants, lots to do and see.

Legoland is 2000 yen ( roughly $22 ) to enter if you don’t prebook tickets, 1500 yen if you book on the website. We booked for 10 am which was fantastic as it is not too crowded. You can see everything without crowds, straight onto the little rides and get a prime position table in the coffee shop ( priority for parents, especially in winter)
The Lego construction of Tokyo, using more than 1.5 million Lego blocks is just spectacular.

Kids can ride on a little train while shooting various Lego ‘baddies’, receiving a score at the end. Another ride you can pedal and go up and down, all with different Lego themes, also a 4D theatre. We saw a Chima film which was excellent. The shop is amazing too, with a huge array of different Lego products.

While walking back to the station, we came across Hiroshi, the performing monkey. What a fun show !! We all laughed so much and thoroughly enjoyed the mini circus performance.
